The Ribbon structure has replaced Cascading menus. The main additions to Microsoft Office Fluent User Interfaceįluent User Interface (an advanced graphical user interface) was brought into the main Microsoft Office applications, namely: Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, changing menu bars with ribbons, making the interface a lot simpler and more accessible for users. Years later, the software was followed by a release of Office 2010. It adds many new features to its predecessor, Office 2003. It was later provided to volume license customers on November 30, 2006, and afterwards, was sold in retail on January 30, 2007.
Office 2007 went into production on November 3, 2006. Microsoft Office is a family of services, client and server software, produced by Microsoft for Windows.
